I have been to Soupleaf a couple of times now and can't wait to come back for more! Each person has their own individual hot pot and you can choose from several different soup bases. You order your meats for the table from the server. Then, you are able to go select additional meats and vegetables at a buffet-style area to bring back to your hot pot. You can also create different dipping sauces of your liking. Desserts are also available! The food is tasty and the staff are extremely helpful. The ambiance is vibrant and I always enjoy my time when I dine here.

My Son and his girlfriend are frequent flyers here, and they took us, along with his girlfriend's Mom for graduation / Mother's Day weekend. I'm sad to say that all hot pot restaurants have now been ruined for me. All diners get their own pot - which is lovely for a group where some are vegetarian and some are not. It's all one price. The meats are sliced to order and brought to the table. The bars with seafood, vegetables and fresh made noodles are huge. And the dipping sauce bar is amazing. I'm still dreaming about this one.

Our food was delicious, but the real treat was our server Willie! He was so nice, very attentive, and made our overall experience WONDERFUL! He helped us decide what to order, and was so incredibly kind to my kids. Highly recommend this place. Also, there were little touches like hair ties in the bathroom.

Austin, TX | Soupleaf Hot Pot Pure deliciousness! First time trying this unique spot in Austin. This place redefines hot pot dining in a good way. The whole experience was very enjoyable, it definitely left me feeling content. It's an all you can eat type of restaurant. For $35 per person, you get access to a wide variety of veggies, fish cakes, noodle options, mushrooms, and dumplings . They provide meat slices to order, but everything else is buffet style including the sauce bar. They have a good selection of veggie, seafood, and noodles. I'm so happy my friend brought me here! I got their Tonkotsu broth which is a pork based broth. It was sooo good! I loved the brisket & the seafood in my broth. I also liked that you could add any ingredients you preferred. It's got a good variety of options, but I didn't like the fish balls or the rice/fish cakes. Overall, I loved it. It got super packed really quick during dinner time. The restaurant is very spacious and everyone gets their own individual pot. The service was great, our waiter was very attentive. I can't wait for my next visit! Ordered: Dinner $35 10/10 Ratings: Overall 10/10 $$$ Service 10/10 @soupleafhotpot 6929 Airport Blvd., Austin, TX

This is a solid hotpot option in North Austin. They could use an improvement in the broth department. Can't really complain too much as it's AYCE. I go with the Thai broth Tom Yum and go with all the beef options. Everything else, you'll find at the buffet station. Very cool concept and I definitely recommend especially if you're an eater eater like me!

Such a fun meal experience. We went with the Szechuan broth bc I'd heard the regular pork broth might be bland. It was delish! But I will get the regular next time and rely on the sauce table to make my own spicy broth. Veg and noodles were fresh and great variety. We all liked the beef more than the pork, but neither was bad. Winner for the day were the dumplings (could have eaten only those and been perfectly happy!) and the potatoes. The potatoes float around in that broth while you play with everything else and soak up all the goodness. Superb!! Service was friendly and very accommodating. Can't wait to go again!!

So pleasantly surprised with the AYCE hotpot place. Lots of varieties of meats, seafoods, vegetables, noodles, sauces and dessert. I wish I left more of an appetite to eat. Everything was fresh and the place was packed! The food kept on coming out and refilled at the stations. All the meats were delivered straight from the kitchen to you for your individual hotpot. The only thing was it seemed like servers were way too busy/ sometimes you had to remind them to top off the broth.

I love hot pot and this place did not disappoint. We were able to make a same day reservation for 8 people on a Saturday night and were seated promptly when we arrived. The restaurant is very spacious and everyone gets their own individual pot. Our waitress (Amanda, I believe) was so helpful and attentive. I got the tomato broth, Amanda brought us bowls of Mala paste to try. I mixed some into my broth and it elevated the flavor of the broth. They provide meat slices to order, but everything else is buffet style including the sauce bar. They have a good selection of veggie, seafood, and noodles. The meat slices were beautiful and came out quickly. Overall, a great experience and I will definitely be returning!

Dinner and weekends can get very busy. If you can, make a reservation so you don't have to wait. Several soup options: Tom yum (limited from madam mam's), tomato, tonkatsu, miso, mala Szechuan, and shiitake vegetarian. Buffet open bar access to seafood, sauces, veggies, noodles, and dessert. Only need to order soup and meat from waiter. You get personal hot pots so everyone can choose their own base. Very fast service.

My darling hubby and I have been really excited about trying this place ever since we first heard about it a couple of months ago! The reviews on here are obviously stellar, and the somewhat DIY pictures of the place look super-interesting! Truth be told, my husband has probably been more excited than me because he loves nothing more than to build his own hot pot to the most intricate detail wherever we go, and I'm definitely the pre-designed "off the menu" type of girl. Anyway, not knowing much more than that about Soup Leaf, we made our reservations, and off we went! The shopping center where it's located has all kinds of Asian restaurants and shops, and we felt pretty sure that this boded well for Soup Leaf's authenticity, and it did! The place was PACKED, so we were super-glad that we made reservations! It's definitely a busy and interesting restaurant FO SHOW! We found out that it's all you can eat, so my husband was grinning ear to ear because it definitely IS a DIY event! You choose your broth and your meats, and then, while that's going, you saunter over to the absolutely insane "buffet-style" add-on options! They literally have everything! You bring your selections back to your table, where your bubbling broth and meat tray is waiting, and then you build away! At this point, my darling hubby was in hog heaven with the choices! They give you an instruction sheet on the timing for everything, so you're not totally on your own, but there's a delicious sense of autonomy that's second to none! They also refill your hot pot with as much broth (and they'll switch it out, if you want to try a different kind), whenever you want! Our server, Channie, was such a delight, and she was a wonderful guide to get us acclimated! All in all, we have officially found our go-to hot pot place in Austin, and we're BEYOND psyched! Thank you, Soup Leaf! We will SO be back!
